My mom is one of those people who tends to exaggerate any situation.
Take for instance an motorcar accident, if he happens to see one while he has driving you will hear quite the tale when he starts to tell you about what he thinks happened, he loves to draw his own conclusion in situations and embellish on the details that he has decided must have been present at the time, however for these reasons when he called about a recent motorcar repair I listened patiently has he explained about how torturous it had been to drive the motorcar with no air conditioner. Apparently he had to do this for almost a week and he said that he felt like he was taking his life into his own hands. The mechanic where he normally takes his motorcar had a very busy schedule so he wasn’t able to get in instantly to have the system repaired. When I asked his if he had had concerns with his Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system in the motorcar before he said that he was aware of a complication however had put it off because he didn’t want to spend money to have it fixed. His mechanic and told his the last time he took it in that it would be needing the freon charged soon however that he thought it might last a couple more months. That was over a year ago and he just ignored it as long as he possibly could, but now it is the heat of Summer and morningtime hot and cold temperatures are in the 90s so he finally decided that it was time to get it fixed. Of course he was very frustrated that the mechanic made his wait a week however then again, one person’s idea of a crisis is very different from that of another’s.
