My girlfriend and I planned to go to the Nebraska Cornhuskers game in Lincoln on Saturday, but I had a really long day on Friday at work and I was way too tired to go anywhere.
For the past couple of weeks, I have been working on a brand new building in the heart of Lincoln. The new office building has eight floors. The building is set up with zone control ductless HVAC systems. Each one of the ductless HVAC systems had to be installed last week. I work as a contractor for a new construction HVAC business in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are constantly busy, but this was the first time that I felt tired at the end of a whole week. My girlfriend had our season tickets out in a cooler packed on Saturday morning. I didn’t even want to get out of bed. I always want to get out of the house to go to a game at the stadium, but I was tired and wanted to sleep. I told my girlfriend that I would meet her at the stadium in a couple of hours. I was hoping that she would go to the tailgating party without me, but she refused. So you said that she wasn’t going to leave me at the house all by myself. If I wasn’t going to get out of bed to attend the football game, she was going to stay home too. I really didn’t want to get up and go to the game, but I couldn’t disappoint my girlfriend. I knew that she wanted to go see Nebraska beat Michigan.
