Losing Heat During a Blizzard

Last winter was one of the hardest winters that my family has ever experienced, however my Grandfather passed away unexpectedly in December, and it took quite a toll on the family.

To make matters even worse, my associate and I had planned a crucial Christmas party at our house that my associate and I simply couldn’t cancel because multiple friends and family members had already bought flights to fly down for it, over forty people were planning to attend the event.

The evening before the tied up party, my associate and I had the biggest blizzard our little city had ever seen. By the next afternoon, there was over five feet of snow on ground, and everything was frozen! Unluckyly, our furnace decided to quit on us the evening of the blizzard, and no one realized it until my associate and I all woke up the next afternoon freezing cold. My sister and her family had already arrived, and they were staying in our two guest living rooms up stairs, and she is one of those people who constantly speaks her mind, and she had a lot to say that afternoon. Thankfully, my partner’s best friend, Dave, is an Heating as well as A/C specialist, and she planned on attend the party that afternoon. She came a few hours early to service the furnace. The roads were a mess because of the snowstorm the previous evening, so Dave wasn’t able to go and choice up the part need for the furnace. She was able to jimmy rig the thing enough to get it to turn on for a few hours, and my associate and I were very grateful to have a sizzling house when our guests arrived. My pal and I will never forget that crazy afternoon, and my associate and I are forever grateful for Dave and her friendship.
