Skin gets dry while in the winter months

The last thing I want to do in the freezing winter months is worry about having to put a freezing lotion on my skin when I get out of the shower

If you are like me, you dread the winter months for many reasons. I prefer being outdoors plus do not like having to dress in a bunch of layers. I don’t like when my ears plus toes are freezing plus absolutely cannot stand chapped lips. I know that when the winter season rolls around, I have to be prepared in my home to stay comfortable. The furnace dries out my skin plus hair more than anything else. The only thing I have to save me from this uncomfortable aliment is the humidifier that I bought last winter. The dry heat in the home actually irritates my skin plus makes it so itchy; Not only am I suffering, but my dog does as well. He hates freezing weather just as much as I do. Once I bought the humidifier, I noticed an instant relief from the itchy plus dry skin that I have been dealing with most of my life. My dog also stopped itching as much. I wondered if this was the answer to my dry skin concern that I experience every winter. I had to suppose that there must be a reason that no one had mentioned this before. Was it all in my head? Was the furnace in my home drying out my skin, or was I just used to the humid air that usually lingers around my house? Either way, this current revelation was going to change my life. I also don’t like wearing lotion. The last thing I want to do in the freezing winter months is worry about having to put a freezing lotion on my skin when I get out of the shower. That sounds poor to me.
