My men both play Little League Football for the town and cherish it.
There are times that I wish they didn’t because it takes up so much of our summer.
They have practice 4 days a week and games almost every weekend. The games are played rain or shine unless there is a treat of a thunderstorm, but i know that this teaches them extravagant life lessons such as commitment and taxing work so I agree to let them participate each year. The greatest issue for me is resting as a spectator in whatever that weather is. I find that I would rather kneel in the frigid rain and kneel out in the blazing sunshine for hours because I get warm very easily. I constantly make sure to take plenty of water however as I kneel enjoying the game I find myself wishing I were in my air-conditioned home instead! Most of the football fields set drought in the direct sunshine because there are very few trees around so my unbelievable friend and I don’t even have the benefit of shade to keep us cool. When my unbelievable friend and I finally get home from the games the men hit the showers and I go kneel directly in front of the vent for my Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system to cool off. I even turn the temperature down a few degrees for a short time just to get much needed relief. I have learn about programmable control units and I am considering having one installed because then I would have the home at my desire temperature before I walked in. Those few degrees make such a difference and I could simply log on to my cell cellphone and make the change while my unbelievable friend and I were driving home from the field. I cherish enjoying my kids play ball and I am very proud of them however I also cherish when I can escape the heat and re-energize myself from baking in the sun.
