Being involved in my daughter’s life is extremely important to me since I’m a father who works a lot and wants to be involved in my daughter’s life.
My wife does a tremendous job keeping things organized at home while she maintains a full-time job as well. Just the other day my daughter had a career day at her school. This was very new to me. I knew that when my daughter was going to invite me that none of her classmates were going to think my job was entertaining. My full-time job consists of me working as an HVAC technician. As an HVAC technician I do a lot of physical labor. Most the time I’m reaching, kneeling, standing and sometimes I’m climbing ladders as well if I have to install air ducts. My job is interesting as I am a book of knowledge when it comes to the heating and cooling industry. I try to maintain my clients as best as I can by offering them the best services. I felt like my job would be a little too hard for my daughter’s classmates to comprehend. It turns out that I was wrong a lot of them asked questions. One boy wanted to know what an HVAC technician does so I told him that I maintain, repair and install heating and cooling systems that keeps the temperature in your comfortable. A lot of her classmates did not realize that there are people who do this kind of things to keep the temperature comfortable.
